Customer Question

I have a C-80 classic and have recently updated my operating system. Today I installed an EMtrak B-100 AIS on my boat. I have a SeaTalk converter to which my GPS and instruments are attached. I got a spur cable to attach to the blue end block of the SeaTalk converterm, attached that to a T-adapter, and from there to my Emtrak with an NMEA 2000 to SeaTalk cable. I get nothing on the Raymarine chart plotter,, despite the EmTrak showing all appropriate lights. What's up? Do I have to connect to my Raymarine C-80 with the older NMEA 0183 connection? What do you suggest?

Hi Don,

To keep the older NMEA 0183 connection you will need to use a Gateway.
