Have installed GPSMAP 741xs with a Airmar B150m transducer on my Grady-White
When fishing in water less than 200' the Traditional setting on the sonar works well. Fish are easily "metered" and caught based on this information.
Fishing in deep water (500'+) with tuna around boat and tuna in schools surfacing over a wide area,
I am unable the "meter" anything, have tried various setting for nothing

Hi there,

If your 741xs is set up correctly for deep water fishing but it is not showing any fish then you will need to send the unit back to Garmin for evaluation and repair. If the problem is due a manufacturing defect then the service will be taken care of any warranty cover.
