I have a new Lowrance LST 3800 depth & temp gauge that registers

Customer Question

I have a new Lowrance LST 3800 depth & temp gauge that registers depth just fine. The temp gauge worked once while underway, but now only registers -4 degrees fahrenheit. I've tried a number of setting options, but the temp gauge never changes from -4 deg F
Thanks.

Hi, My name is***** you for letting me try and assist you with your problem.
Unfortunatley the temp sensor seems to have failed.
I'm sorry to have to say this but replacing the transducer is going to be needed to fix the problem.
You can call 1(###) ###-####for the Navico service center to discuss a warranty claim on the unit.
They're generally very helpful and will get you taken care of.
If there's anything else I can help with please let me know.
