I have a new HDS-7 fish finder/GPS and an HST-WSBL Transducer. Obviously I need to connect the transducer to the HDS with its cable. Do I need to use anything else other than the black and red wires to connect it? If not--what should I do with the yellow, blue, orange and green wires? Also--what is an NMEA? I have information to help connect it, but don't know what it might be used for. Do you have a better instruction manual for the electrical connections? Larry Weitzenkamp
yellow, blue, orange and green wires you need to cut and tap up out of the way its for NMEANMEA what you can do is have another electronic device talk to each other, so like a VHF so you can send body your position if your in trouble
