I have a lowrance ifinder H20c gps and somehow salt water has leaked into the screen. I am currently drying it in the sun sitting it upside down. This has drained out most of the water. What else should I do? I have turned the unit on since it got wet.
Already Tried: Sitting unit upside down in the sun and letting it drain. I haven't turned the unit on since the water got in
Hi, and thank you for letting me try and assist you with your problem.I recommend putting it in a ziploc with riceThe rice will absorb all the moisture in itIt sounds like you have a bad seal on it and it might need to be replaced

Thanks for your reply. When I put it in the ziploc bag should I put the bag in the sun to get a bit of heat into it or just leave it inside? How long do you think I should leave it for before trying to turn it on?
you need to have the rice and not in the sunat least 2 days
