I cannot find photo tab in itunes
JA: What's the brand/model/Operating System (OS) of your computer?
Customer: It's a 4 yr old Imac...I don't know beyond that
JA: When did you purchase your Apple? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I purchased it 4 yrs ago, it is in to date. I have. My iPad plugged in and have tried all of the suggestions I've read. I have a ton of empty photo albums that I would like to delete from my iPad
JA: Anything else you want the computer expert to know before I connect you?

So that I don't repeat the steps you have already tried, can you please tell me what you have already done to try to get the tab to show up?

I've made sure the sidebar is not hidden, logged out and logged back in, opened iTunes and then plugged in my iPad. I can click min my device but the bar above with summary...photos is not there

You have clicked on ipad in the upper right?

Also, make sure you plug in the iPad BEFORE starting iTunes.

My iPad icon is in the upper left so yes

And also maximize the itunes window - if it is not wide enough it will hide some of the options.

I know these are stupid suggestions, but in my experience it's almost always something like this that causes the problem.
