Expert:  Josh replied 2 months ago.

Do you have the iPad and iPhone registered to the same Apple ID?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
I'm sorry but I don't know. Where can I find that on my iPhone and iPad?
Expert:  Josh replied 2 months ago.

On both devices, you can go into Settings then iTunes & App Store - It will show the Apple ID at the top. Do both devices have the same account showing?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
OK! Let me check my iPad. Please don't go away.
Customer: replied 2 months ago.
they are the same
Expert:  Josh replied 2 months ago.

Since they are the same, the contacts should automatically sync across the devices.

Have you checked to see if they are syncing across already?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
I'm not sure how to sync from one to the other. I'd like to know how to do that in the future.
Customer: replied 2 months ago.
I'd like to do that now, please
Expert:  Josh replied 2 months ago.

They will sync automatically through iCloud -- You do not need to do anything.

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Really?
Expert:  Josh replied 2 months ago.

Yes, they sync automatically through iCloud -- That is why I had you confirm the same Apple ID on the devices.
