I am having trouble restoring my iPhone 4s, I am not sure.

JA: What OS X (Operating System, e.g. Sierra, El Capitan, Yosemite, etc.) or iOS are you runninng?
Customer: I am not sure. Im sorry. I get "to allow access please respond on your iPhone"
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: I am up to date but no I haven't installed anything
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: The only thing I've tried is switching WiFi networks, going in recovery mode , quitting and reopening itunes but I still keep getting the " please respond on iPhone " there is nothing appearing on my iPhone
