My iPad has gone black and will not turn on or indicate charging
JA: What OS X (Operating System, e.g. Sierra, El Capitan, Yosemite, etc.) or iOS are you runninng?
Customer: Sierra
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: No
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Unable to get home page to try anything

Hi, there I am Cris and will be glad to assist you.

If your iPad is plugged into the charger unplug it for 30 seconds.

Plug the iPad back into the charger and wait about 2 minutes. After 2 minutes press and hold the Home button and Top button down together at the same time.

Continue to hold for up to 1 minute or until you see the Apple logo appears. When it does allow the iPad to boot up and leave on charger until fully charged.
