I changed my apple id on apple website, but my MacBook pro

I changed my apple id on apple website, but my MacBook pro still shows the old id, so I cant log out of it because its the old one that I changed, the password ***** not work, nor the old Id exists
JA: Just to clarify, how old is your MacBook Pro and what operating system are you running?
Customer: its 1 year old and I am using macOS Sierra
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: yes every time
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: all i want to do really is logout of the old id, and login with the new id

I don't understand you can't just cancel an Apple ID. If you made a new one your old one should still work? Can you clarify?

They need the password ***** the old id to logout, but that id does not exist anymore, forgot password ***** does not work, because the old id is gone, whats happening here is the MacBook, did not update the old id with the new one

The MacBook is registered to old Apple ID? Go to http://appleid.apple.com, login with your Apple ID and unregister the computer.

Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click iCloud.

  • If you're signed out, enter your updated Apple ID and password ***** sign in. The data in iCloud will automatically appear on your device after you sign in.
  • If you're signed in with your previous Apple ID:
    1. Click Sign Out. Depending on what iCloud options are turned on, you'll be asked if you want to make copies or delete iCloud data (Contacts, Calendar, Reminders, Bookmarks, Photo Stream) from your Mac. Your data will remain in iCloud and will be updated on your device when you sign in to iCloud again.
    2. Enter your updated Apple ID and password ***** sign in.

This is the issue, I can not sign out, because it is showing the old id, which does not exist anymore, so I can not sign out, please go back and read the very first post

Just change it go to System Preferences / Users & Groups and Change password ***** it a regular password ***** of Apple ID. If that doesn't work you need to contact Apple.
