I can not remember my password ***** used to set up my IPhone and the activition Lock is on
JA: When did you last reset your username and password?
Customer: 2015 October
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: Yes
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I was trying to send a pictures to a list of people about 6 I was having trouble and my phone locked. Message was something about trying to find my phone
JA: Anything else you want the Mac expert to know before I connect you?

The only way to bypass the lock is to perform a factory reset..

  1. From a computer, go to icloud.com/find.
  2. If prompted, sign in with your Apple ID
  3. Click All Devices at the top of your browser window.
  4. Select the device you want to erase.
  5. Click Erase [device] to erase your device and its passcode.
  6. Now you can restore from a backup.
