JA: What OS X (Operating System, e.g. Sierra, El Capitan, Yosemite, etc.) or iOS are you runninng?

Please hold down the POWER and HOME buttons together until you see the Apple icon. (It can take 15-20 seconds)

After you see the icon, you can release the buttons and the iPad will restart.

After the restart, your iPad should speed up and work faster for you.
