ipad pro is hours old. Never set up a passcode, and it's "disabled"....won't connect to itunes or wi-fi ('net). I've tried restore over and over- nothing works.
JA: What OS X (Operating System, e.g. Sierra, El Capitan, Yosemite, etc.) or iOS are you runninng?
Customer: It's an ipad pro. That's all I know
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: It's hours old. Demands a passcode that I don't have & never set up.
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I've tried every suggestion found via searches for disabled ipad pros- nothing works.
JA: Anything else you want the Mac expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: Don't think so.

Can you tell me please exactly how you tried to restore the iPad?

held down power and home button- itunes logo never shows up. I tunes says the device is disabled, must enter passcode. So does the ipad...I never set up the passcode.
Also tried the "restore" info using just the ipad...held down home button- yada, yada....ends with same message- is disabled.

I'm telling you, it will not connect to the internet. It's disabled. I can't get to settings, I can't get to anything beyond the "disabled" thingy.

I have itunes. No, it will not connect to itunes. Itunes demanded the passcode that I never set up. I've tried it repeatedly. I've tried the hard reboot. I've tried the DFU restore...several times. I'm done. I'm returning it to Amazon. And I want you guys to return my money.
