Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Hi, Josh!
Choose a Wi-Fi Network

Okay, great.

Please select your Wi-Fi network and go through the steps. After that is complete, you should be able to use your iPad again.

Please press and hold down the POWER and HOME buttons together on your iPad until you see the Apple icon. After you see the icon, release the buttons and the iPad will restart.

Try again after the restart

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
I already did that. It tells me to Activate and brings me back to where I was before! Stuck!
Expert:  Josh replied 2 months ago.

Are you selecting your Wi-Fi network from the list?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
I keep getting the message "Your iPad could not be activiated because the activation server cannot be reached. Try connecting your ipad to iTunes to activate it, or try again in a couple of minutes. If the problem persists, contact Apple Support at apple.com/support.

Have you tried connecting your iPad to iTunes?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Don't know how to do that.
Expert:  Josh replied 2 months ago.

Do you have iTunes on your computer?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Not on this one. I probably do on another one.
Expert:  Josh replied 2 months ago.

You can download it here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

Run the downloaded program and after it is installed, open the program.

Connect your iPhone to your computer and from there, you can activate within iTunes.

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
It woudl have been on another computer for sure.
Expert:  Josh replied 2 months ago.
You can use his computer to activate it as new
Customer: replied 2 months ago.
I'd lose everything on the iPad.
Expert:  Josh replied 2 months ago.

Yes, you would unless you restored from a backup.

If you backed up your iPad on a computer then you need to use that computer.

If you backed up the iPad using iCloud then you can restore with that without using a computer.
