Phone (6+) iTunes keeps asking me to sign in to an old ID

Customer Question

Phone (6+) iTunes keeps asking me to sign in to an old ID email address even though the correct ID is registered in Settings.
JA: Just to clarify, what email service provider are you using?
Customer: wavecable .com. My old address was Comcast.com
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: Yes, many from Istore. I also had a lost phone recently and had to reverse a data wipeout
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Don't have any remedies. I'v checked my iTunes profile and it is OK
JA: Anything else you want the Mac expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: Nothing more

This is on iPhone 6+
Expert:  Kevin T replied 3 months ago.

Ok, can you go into settings and iCloud and see what Apple ID is linked in there?

Regards

Kevin

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
I've done that and it is the correct up to date Apple ID ---NOT the one that the pop-up keeps asking me to sign into
Expert:  Kevin T replied 3 months ago.

Please go into iTunes and see the account listed there?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
I've done that and likewise it is the correct up to date ID

Go into iCloud and Find My iPhone

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
OK I'm in Find my phone in i Cloud. What next?
Expert:  Kevin T replied 3 months ago.

Disable, sign out and restart phone.

This should fix the issue

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
How to disable? I'm in the ap and I don't see a disable button
Expert:  Kevin T replied 3 months ago.

Sign out or turn off under Find my iPhone in icloud under settings, not the app.

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
OK--I've turned it off--restarted phone. Turned it on again. Did not solve problem. The pop up with old ID came up immediately I re-started phone

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
Have an iMac. Or this Ibook that I'm typing on. Do you want a video connection?

Shall I just connect phone to iMac?
Expert:  Kevin T replied 3 months ago.

Please accept the remote request

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
Will this cost me $$$?
Expert:  Kevin T replied 3 months ago.

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
Will I get reimbursed if this is an Apple-generated problem and not my doing?
Expert:  Kevin T replied 3 months ago.

No, we are a 3rd party support site.

We help people with issues that may or may not be your fault

If you are unhappy with my help I can flag this for a refund. You will not get any more help.

I only see a small % of the money

Regards

Kevin

OK--please flag this for a refund. I'll take it to the Apple store. I see on line that many people have had this problem and Apple has not resolved it. I understand you position. Thank-you for response.
