JA: When did you last reset your Apple ID or password?
Customer: Don't remember
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: iPad updated several weeks ago
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Don't know where to start little slow on this stuff
JA: Anything else you want the Mac expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: Someone was charging my card with iTunes blocked that card have new one on acct

Once you have reset the password, you need to sign out of your Apple ID on your iPad and sign back in using a new password. To do that, follow these instructions:

1. On the home screen, tap on Settings
2. Tap on iTunes & App Store
3. Tap on your current Apple ID shown at the top
4. Tap on Sign Out in the popup menu that appears
5. You can now sign back in using the same account, but make sure you use a new password

6. When signed in, check if you can use your Apple ID

If you have reset the password, and the iPad won't take it, please restart your iPad and then try again. You can also test the password ***** your computer in iTunes. Another way would be to open a web browser and visit this link:

There sign in to your Apple ID using a new password.
