Once you have reset the password, you need to sign out of your Apple ID on your iPad and sign back in using a new password. To do that, follow these instructions:
1. On the home screen, tap on Settings2. Tap on iTunes & App Store3. Tap on your current Apple ID shown at the top4. Tap on Sign Out in the popup menu that appears5. You can now sign back in using the same account, but make sure you use a new password
6. When signed in, check if you can use your Apple ID

If you have reset the password, and the iPad won't take it, please restart your iPad and then try again. You can also test the password ***** your computer in iTunes. Another way would be to open a web browser and visit this link:
