Where did you come from...? i disconnected my airport

where did you come from... ? i disconnected my airport express which is beverly impacting my wifi service and can't get it back on line.. it is not being recognized
JA: What OS X (Operating System, e.g. Sierra, El Capitan, Yosemite, etc.) or iOS are you runninng?

JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: installed sierra... it was fine.. i was trying to fix the time machine.. it was online.. green light and everything and i pushed a wrong button and lost it
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: i have tried to soft reset and hard reset.. the ***** *****ght continues to go on and off.. but no green and no recognition in my airport utility of it's existence..
