Hi, thank you for contacting JustAnswer.com. My name is***** will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.

What sort of startup disk do you need, please?

Or, on what device does the message asking for one appear, please?

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
I was following some advice to previous user question, which mentioned startup disk
Customer: replied 4 months ago.
Is the $39 over and above the $30 I already paid?
Expert:  Russell H. replied 4 months ago.

Most likely any further fee mentioned is indeed in addition... that message did not come from me, but from the system.

Is Russell H there? What no chat box?

I mean why no chat box?

OK. I don't know enough about Macs to advise you, I'm sorry to say, as to what startup disk would be appropriate for a Mac Mini.

but I would guess, the one that says MAC OS X on it, in large letters; a CD or DVD disc, and possibly labeled with the image and the nickname (such as a tiger for the MAC OS X version called 'Tiger', etc.)

My Mac mini doesn't read CDs or DVDs or anything - it doesn't read
Customer: replied 4 months ago.
Is there a Mac person there please?
Expert:  Russell H. replied 4 months ago.

OK... I have Opted Out, in favor of a Mac or Mac Mini Expert, and will change the category to Mac, now that I have found out what this question involves.

Thanks for your patience meanwhile.
