I have recently added music to my computer and then to My IPOD. It now will not power up . The screen is black but says connected
JA: Just to clarify, what's the make and model of your machine, and what operating system are you running?
Customer: 160 GB.Serial 8K128C6S9ZU
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: No
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?

Try a reset of your iPod, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and Volume Down button for at least eight seconds or until you see the Apple logo. You might need to repeat this step.

If you still need help, follow these steps:

  1. Plug your iPod into a power adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet.
  2. Try to reset your iPod again.
