Hi,

I'm sorry about the issue. Does it ask you to do anything in that Google email message? (Note: Do not follow any instruction in it for now.)

Do you use Gmail email?

Is your email currently working fine?

How do you normally access your email on your Macbook?

What's your internet browser on your computer, such as Safari, Firefox, Chrome?

Do you access your email on any other computer?

Please reply at the box below. Thank you.

I'm beginning to think this is not legitimate

Do you mean you think that email message from Google is not legitimate? Usually if an email message asks for your password ***** some account / personal information, then it is usually a scam.

Can you please tell me everything in that email message, purported from Google, so I can check? (You can copy and paste here, so I can check.)
