Hello,I am the person that will be helping you today.
I am sorry to be the bringer of bad news, but there is absolutely nothing that you can do to fix this. I have dealt with this problem scores of times. The device is locked by the previous owner's Apple ID. It is a security feature that is built into the iPod Touch. The only way that you can get passed that screen is if you log in with the other person's Apple ID. In short, you will need to contact the seller on Amazon and request the log information or request a replacement/refund.
Please, keep in mind that I am only the delivery guy as far as the information goes. Believe me, if there was a way around this, I would give it to you and I would use it on the 10 or 15 Apple devices that I have in my junk box.
One quick note: This is my job; however, I only get credit for my time, if you rate my help with 3 Stars or more. I would prefer a 5 star rating, if you are satisfied. If you are not happy with my answer below, please let me know so we can continue.
I look forward to your next message below or your rating on the top of this page (choosing of number of Stars and clicking the Submit button)
Please, do not forget to rate my help on this page.
Thank you again, - Jason
