I have a macbook air serial #: C02L504LFLCG 2014 and was wondering if it had an IR SENSOR?
JA: Just to clarify, how old is your MacBook Air and what operating system are you running?
Customer: 10.11.6 EL CAPITAN and it is a 2014
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: no
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: everything they suggested....I.E. security settings which do not mention IR at all
JA: Anything else you want the Mac expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: no just want to have the remote work
