Welcome to Justanswer.com, my name is Dustin.I'm sorry to hear about the issue you are having, I will do my best to help you resolve it.
Out of curiosity, if you shut down the mac, and then hold down the command and R key.
And start the mac while holding the command and R key.. What happens?
What do we see on screen?
Thanks, ***** ***** standing by
Im with you.. I was having issues getting this page to load to send you a reply.
We need to try and complete the internet recovery, if it completes.. It will reinstall Lion and the mac will work as normal.. ( though, it will be a fresh start and you will need to reload any programs or data / files you need on the machine.

Im still here.. Ive tried to reply to you a few times.. You are correct.. We cannot connect remotely, the mac isnt running so it isnt possible.
Now, after the i nternet recovery said it was complete, it went directly to utilities?
What choices do we see on screen? Is reinstall osx one of them?
Are you certain you are entering the correct apple id and password?
Do you know the original apple id that was used when the computer was first setup, or when it was first upgraded to Lion?
Yes, we probably do need to use his if his id was the original id it was registered to. ( this is done as an anti-theft measure )
Let me know if it will take his id.
Ok, lets try this.. It will seem similar but its a different command set.
Shut down the mac, this time hold down command + option + R
Then, choose recovery, and reinstall osx.. It shouldnt give the temporarily unavailable error now.
let me know what happens when you can.
Just wh ile turning back on..
is that what we did?
Ok, so we used command + option + R.. And chose recovery, and chose reinstall osx.. And now we're just waiting for it to download and continue the install?
Ok. lets give it about 10 minutes and if it doesnt change screens at all.. Shut down, and then try
command + option + R again. ( you have to press them as soon as you press power to turn the machine on)
We may have to use a restore disk, or a restore usb..
Question, do you have a second working mac by chance?
Allright, just wanted to check.
On the screen that shows reinstall osx.. Instead click utilities. Then click disk utility.
Then click Mac hd.. Then at the top right click erase. Once the erase is finished.
Go back to the reinstall osx option and try again.. Will it install now?
We have two ways to proceed. We must use a mac osx install disk.
Or, we must create an install USB.. ( or purchase a pre made install usb )
Here are the steps to create one, we can go over these when you are ready to continue.
Or, if you want to save yourself some time you can just purchase a pre made lion install usb from here http://amzn.to/2dA8FJT

I believe the USb is 15$ if you wanted to purchase it pre made.
if you mean how much will justanswer charge you, it appears the total fee is 30$ but you can see the pending charge if you click my account at the top right of the justanswer page and then click order history on the left.
Youre welcome.. And if you want to continue later tonight, or this weekend or next week.. Youre welcome to get back to me.
