Safari stopped opening on my MAC a few days ago. When I go into applications, it says Safari is no longer open. OS X Yosemite -
JA: How much experience do you have with this particular machine?
Customer: so - so
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: no... the only thing I have done is download pictures from my i-phone using a cord to put them in my Iphotos
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?

but when I click on it nothing happens - when I go into Finder and apps to Safari it says Safari is no longer open
