My computer is fine. However, whenever I log into gmail, I seem to have to establish my two email accounts all over again on the system. They don't just stay on it even though I check "Stay logged in". Is there a setting that I don't know about?
JA: How long have you had this issue with your Gmail account?
Customer: Years.
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: As far as I know, updates are installed automatically. I have a Mac.
JA: Anything else you want the computer expert to know before I connect you?

Hi!

Clearing your cache should fix the issue and allow you to stay signed in..

  1. Click Safari in the upper left hand side of your screen. In the menu that appears, click Preferences.
  2. In the window that appears, click the Privacy tab. Click the button Remove All Website Data....
  3. Click Remove Now in the pop up window that appears.
  4. Close Safari then open again
  5. Sign into your Gmail account and mark the stay sign-in option
  6. Close Safari and try again
