Hello, and Thank You for choosing JustAnswer.comMy name is ***** ***** I am reviewing your question now, please stand by for 1 or 2 minute for reply.
What does the Brookstone Projector have for INPUTS?
Does it have an HDMI, or a VGA, or a Composite (yellow color RCA type plug/jack)
Of if you can tell me the model number of the projector, I can look at the specs myself, which would be best.
Once i know what the projector has for INPUTS, I can tell you what you need to make a video connection from the iPad.
Is this what you have for the Projector?
From what i can tell ALL Brookstone projectors work with an HDMI interface.
So no need for model number, as they are all the same.....so thats good.
Furthermore, to use an Apple iPad or iPhone, you will need an Apple Digital AV Adapter.
This is a small adaptor (about 6- 8 inches long) that converts your lightning port into an HDMO out port.
Then you can use a standard HDMI cable to connect to the projector.
Give me just a minute, and I can find you an adaptor that you will need.
You can then decide on what is best for you. As there are other ways......but they only get more expensive, and more coplicated.
This is the simplest, and cheapest way possible.
Typo.....sorry HDMO is supposed to be HDMI
Here is the official adaptor from Apple, and is what is reccomended. But there are other companies that make them cheaper, and with inferior components. But i dont reccomend them.
Also, your iPad must have a LIGHTNING Port. If it has the wider 32 Pin port, then you need a different adaptor.
The older iPads used the 32 PIn, but since about 2011-2012 the lightning port has been used.
So, which port does your iPad have?
