I'm sorry about the issue. Please try the following:
- Press and hold both the Power (On / Off) button and the Home button (which is located right below the screen) together for at least 10 seconds, until the Apple logo appears, then wait a bit, then check.
- Go to Settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calendars, then tap on your AOL account and delete account and confirm to delete it for now
, then tap on Add account option, then select AOL option and enter your aol account information and check mail.
- Delete account again, but don't re-add it
, then open App Store, then download and install and use the AOL app for email.

, then open App Store app icon, then type / search for aol in the App Store
, then get / install the AOL mail... app
, then open the AOL app, and sign in your aol email account
, then from now on, use the AOL app to access your aol email.
