trying to connect apple mac book pro to network printer
JA: Just to clarify, how old is your MacBook Pro and what operating system are you running?
Customer: Its about four years old. belongs to my daughters. I use linux and not to good with apple
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I ran zenmap on my system and found the ip's for the printer and cups.

Open System Preferences -> Print & Scan -> Click the + sign and it should locate the printer on the network if the printer supports bonjour.
