Hi and Welcome. My Name is ***** ***** I look forward to assisting you today with your question.

How did you remove the backup drive ?

Expert:  Ashik replied 10 months ago.

If you removed Time Machine backup drive, then do this. Connect the backup drive back to your Mac if unplugged. Click on Apple icon and select System Preferences. Click on Time Machine icon. Make sure Time Machine is turned on (see the switch on left side).

Then click Select Backup Disk and select your backup drive there. Click Use Disk if asked. This will do it.

If this doesn't restore it back, please let me know by typing your reply in here and hit Send and I will continue to help you.
