Hi my name is ***** ***** to JustAnswer. I am reviewing your question and will reply ASAP.

Expert:  David replied 9 months ago.

Your issue is with keys on the keyboard producing more than one cahracter when used.

Is this a consistent issue? Do the same keys produce the same multiple characters?

Is it the same in any application? Or is it just one application.

It's something we should be able to fix, just narrowing down the isssue with these questions, thanks for your patience.

Hi,

Have you resolved the issue? If not please don't hesitate to get back to me for some help.

Kind regards,

David.

Customer: replied 9 months ago.
I googled and it appears to be a common problem resolved by switching off, turning on, and switching on whilst holding the ALT, CMD, P,&R key until the system tone repeats four times then allow start up. That fix resolved the issue

That's good to hear, I'm glad you got it fixed.
Have a good day!

Sincerely,

David.
