I have a iMac .... three years or so ago I switched to firefox because safari seemed to be slow. Should I switch back? ?What and how is the easiest?

There is no need to switch back to Safari. In fact, Firefox and Chrome are more advanced than Safari. If Firefox works for you, then you can keep using it. There is no good reason to switch it back.

Make sure you use the latest Firefox, which you can download it from here -- > https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/

If you want, you can try Google Chrome which is similar to Firefox yet more advanced than Safari --> https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/desktop/
