Hi Welcome to JustAnswer

I will look into it and let you know as soon as possible.

Half of the 30-sec video is fine; half has pink and green rectangular flashes over the pictures, that occur in the same place during PLAY. The video includes still images only. IMovie applies a Ken Burns' effect to the still images. There are transitions applied between the still images. I really don't want to start over and rebuild the video. Can you tell me what the possible causes could be and how to fix it?

This could be some kind of rendering issue. Please change the Video Processing settings for the sequence from "Render all YUV material in high-precision YUV" to "Render in 8-bit YUV".

Also try exporting it to some other format and see if you are getting the glitch.

Do you have Perian installed? It would be one of your System Preference icons.

I see the same pink and green flashes within iMOVIE, before I export it, but not in every still image and not continuously.

Did you change quality of those images ?

Expert:  Bhavik Joshi replied 5 months ago.

Please try to export it to some other format and see if it working. Try and use some other player to view it. Did you see the same thing during preview of it.

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
I see the same thing when previewing, so exporting it is not the issue.
Expert:  Bhavik Joshi replied 5 months ago.

yes in this case the problem is in the image setting only.

Expert:  Bhavik Joshi replied 5 months ago.

Can you try removing all the effects from those particular images and see if you are still facing the issue.
