Hi, thank you for contacting JustAnswer.com. My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.
That link to apple support's website may be slightly misspelled, but is not recognized.
Have you ever activated the iPad in question before this?
How old is the iPad in question, measured from date of original purchase?
All right. It's not too new, then.
What is the full and exact message about 'activate iPad', please ?
I'm not sure how to advise you at this point. I have Opted Out in favor of a more Apple-expert Expert.
Hello! Your iPad may have downloaded a software update. When this occurs, you are often asked to enter your Apple ID and password ***** reactivate the device.
If you have forgotten your Apple ID or password, you can reset those here:
Once reset, you can use your new password ***** activate your device.
If you run into any trouble or have additional questions, please let me know!
have you got a computer there ? either mac or windows though the mac would be a little easier
if you can run itunes and connect the ipad with a usb cable you should be able to reset it that way.
i can give you detailed instructions
by doing it you will restore the ipad to default and lose everything on it.
It should come back if you log in with the apple id and password ***** you were using on it before.
or log in remotely to do it with you if you want to pay a little bit extra.
