I was talking with my friend when my iPhone just stopped

Customer Question

I was talking with my friend when my iPhone just stopped working - has a gray screen with apple symbol but wont turn back on
JA: Sometimes things that you think will be really complicated end up being easy to fix. The Mac Technician I'm going to connect you with knows all the tricks and shortcuts. Tell me a bit more about what's going on so he can help you best.
Customer: I don't know what else to tell you. It was working fine, then just turned off and won't turn back on
JA: Is there anything else important you think the Mac Technician should know?
Customer: I did look at dictation for texting, but did not allow it. Then I had a phone call talked a bit. I heard a text come thru but my friend and I continued to talk and it went off
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Mac Technician about your situation and then connect you two.

First we can reset your iPhone and see if it works or not. Press and hold down the Power button and Home button at the same time until it shows the Apple logo. When you see the Apple logo, release the buttons and let it boot.

Note : Power button is the button you use to turn off your iPhone or its screen. Home button is the round button at front bottom.

Please let me know if that didn't work, so we can continue troubleshooting.
