Thank you for your question, my name is ***** ***** I look forward to assisting you.

Please note, click on Reply to Expert to reply to me, a rating is only needed when we are finished.

There is a fix for this issue, and you will need to do the following.

Please do the following to resolve this

Click start, control panel, programs, uninstall a program

Uninstall the below software in the following order. Then, restart your computer.

iTunes

QuickTime

Apple Software Update

Apple Mobile Device Support

Bonjour

Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)

Once you have restarted, install iTunes again

Once done, it should then work.

I can also do these steps for you, and have made a request via Additional Services. This is optional, and if you choose to do this, I can, with your permission, remote into your computer while you watch and do all these steps (and deal with any problems that arise during them) for you. Or if you do not choose to take this service, we can continue here. This is no problem at all. Just let me know please.

If you have any problems, or would like any additional information or assistance, please do not hesitate to let me know.

And if you can take a second to rate my service, that would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

I have told you many times that I keep getting the same message "Apple mobile device service failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services.
Expert:  Richard replied 10 months ago.

My issue is not yet resolved

I am unable to complete right now because I am going to a meeting. Will come back on tomorrow.

So I am still asking if you have done the instructions I original gave you.

When you uninstalled all 6 components, did you restart before trying to install iTunes?

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
I did
Expert:  Richard replied 10 months ago.

Thank you

Can you do the following please

Uninstall the 6 programs again

iTunes

QuickTime

Apple Software Update

Apple Mobile Device Support

Bonjour

Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)

Restart the computer

go to itunes.com, download the newest version, save it to your desktop, RIGHT CLICK the icon and select RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR.

when itunes is done being installed, DO NOT click finish just yet.

plug in your device (iphone, ipod) to the USB cord, you'll see a window pop up in the lower right hand corner...that is your computer searching and installing the device driver.

after the driver is installed you can click FINISH on the itunes installer.

Tell me if it then runs please
