I have an OS X Version 10.9.5 laptop that is 2 years old. All of a sudden, the cursor seems to have a mind of its own, randomly going to new screens or jumping to places while I'm in the middle of typing something. Do you know what could be going on???

Go to System Preferences / Accessibility check Keyboard make sure Enable Sticky Keys in not checked and under Mouse & Trackpad make sure Enable Mouse Keys is also not checked.
