I 't understand why I'm continuing problems with Logitech

Customer: I don't understand why I'm continuing problems with Logitech Media server on my Mac. I'm running LMS 7.9 and I found an advice to delete the Squeezebox log-filer in /Users/kh/Library/Logs/Squeezebox. It worked yesterday but now a new log-file shows up everytime at do anything.

Customer: Yes if I get a durable solution. The problem is that the LMS can not: connecting to http: // localhost: 9000 / and that I therefore can not play playlists from Spotify locally.Please come with detailed questions to locate the problem. Hello,

The Squeezebox log file will be recreated automatically and this is normal.

This problem may be due to incompatible Apple codecs.

Ensure you are using the latest version of Spotify.

Try installing the latest version of QuickTime and let me know if that resolves the issue.

The ordinary current version of Logitech Media Server is 7.7.5. According to several forums outhere it's recommended to run the beta version 7.9.0 when using Mac OX Yosemite in this matter, which I do.
I do not use QuickTime at all. My OS is fully updated, including QuickTime.
