I'm trying to shoot tethered in Lightroom 6 with my Sony

Customer Question

I'm trying to shoot tethered in Lightroom 6 with my Sony A7RII and can't get through. The program seems to recognize that I've hooked up to it but the tethered option is grayed out.

Hi there,

What version of OS X are you using?

Many users are experiencing this problem when using LR6 with El Capitan (OS X 10.11)

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I'm using 10.10.5 Yosemite.

I have the Remote Camera Control software.

Do you have another Mac available that you can test the camera tethering on?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I've tested it on both Macs. Lightroom recognizes the camera (I see it listed under "Devices") but when I try to connect it says it's not connected.

Ok, can you try updating the firmware on the camera and let me know if that helps:
