I'm having problems with my Apple ID after iOS 9 was downloaded my previous ID came up on iMessage but did not affect my mail or iTunes. Now I cannot receive or send messages.

Hi there and welcome

It appears the mail profile is corrupted.

Can you go to Settings, Mail and press on the problem email account then press delete account.

Once done, go to Settings, Mail and add the account to the phone.

If it adds it should then be able to send and receive.
