My Safari keeps crashing on startup. I recently clicked yes

Customer Question

My Safari keeps crashing on startup. I recently clicked yes on a prompt that said my Adobe Acrobat was out of date. Since then, Safari wont open...crashes at 1st page:
"Safari Web Content quit unexpectedly while using the mmhk plug-in."
I'm on a MacBook Pro, 17" Mid 2009, 3.06 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, OS X 10.8.5
Safari 6.2.8
Any suggestions?

Hello there! We will need to remove the plugin to get the issue resolved please follow the steps below

Open any folder

hold down the Option key and choose Go from the menu bar

then select Library, then open the Internet Plug-ins folder.

Delete any adobe plugin that is in here

then open safari.

Will this inactivate all of my other Adobe Products? I have Photoshop, AfterEffects and others.

No just any plugins that are in safari. They can be reinstalled later as well.

Interestingly, I clicked on the Software Updates, clicked on Safari update and voila, Safari came up immediately.
I'll refrain from deleting all the Adobe plug-ins at this time.
