Hello there! Below are some steps to help reset your power management system
1. Shut down the Macbook air.2. Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected.3. On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.4. Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.5. Press the power button to turn on the macbook air.6. Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys before the gray screen appears.7. Hold the keys down until the Macbook air restarts.8. Release the keys.
If this does not work follow these steps
1. turn off mac2. Locate CMD and R keys3. Turn on mac holding the keys from step 24. A menu will show with a couple options we will use disk utility. Once disk utility is open select mac hd and click verify disk to repair any issues with your hard drive. Then close the window and select exit installer.
