I am getting a blank white box in the middle of my screen. I cannot successfully remove it. It is somehow linked with Firefox. When I quit Firefox it goes away. When I open Firefox it returns. Got any suggestions how to make it disappear. This has happened several times but tonight no luck getting it to disappear. REM

Go to Firefox / Preferences / Advanced... Select the two boxes to Clear Now then quit Firefox and reopen. Let me know.

They are there I can remote connect? What do you see in Advanced?

Under Advanced I see: General, Data Choices, Network, Update, Certificates. I've selected all of these and do not find anything corresponding to two boxes corresponding relating to "clear now"

I found the clear now boxes. I selected each. I quite Firefox. However, when I re-open Firefox the blank white box pops up again. I tried this several times but the box re-appears.

Go to Tools / Addons and select Extensions on the left what is listed there?

Disable them one by one until the box goes away. You have to quit Firefox each time
