Hi, I am A. Stevens here to help with your question! So normally iPad will not be able to store a virus, but what you may be seeing is a stuck pop up through your Safari browser that appears to be a virus.

What you can do is double tap the home button to open up the screen that shows all the running programs, and swipe Safari up so that it closes compeletely. If you would like, you could also perform a factory reset of the iPad to ensure it is clean
