Hi,

I'm sorry about the issue. What's your Mac OS X version, i.e., 10.6, 10.7, 10.8, etc.?

Is Safari / internet slow?

Or is the whole computer slow?

Please reply at the box below. Thank you.

Hello there! My name is***** and I will be assisting you today. Lets start by seeing if your mac still feels slow after booting into safe mode

Turn off your mac

then hold the shift key

Keep holding the shift key till you see you login screen

You should be in safe boot at this point. Open safari and check your emails. Is it the same ? If so accept the offer I sent and i can remotely connect and clean your system.

Don't understand why you are offering me this when I have already paid for an answer which I still don't have.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Also I wanted to delete all the old files supposedly on my hard drive, so why no answer just an offer linked to more payment

Did you follow the steps i posted? I stated that you would only use that if you mac was still slow while in safe boot. Please follow the steps i posted. Also if you want to delete files just follow the steps below.
Open Safari.
Click the Safari menu, located at the top of your screen.
A drop-down menu will now show.

Tried that and when I relaunch Safari it automatically opens up to Google, any other ideas ?
Expert:  Johnny Mack replied 1 year ago.

Were you holding the shift key? If you dont hold it down it wont show you the menu. These are the only two ways that Safari will reset per Apple knowledge base.

Expert:  Johnny Mack replied 1 year ago.

Remember I can also remotely connect and have this all done for you in a couple of minutes all you have to do is accept the additional service offer.

Expert:  Johnny Mack replied 1 year ago.

There is one other way you could partially delete information from safari but it will not be as thorough

  1. Click Safari. In the menu click Preferences.

  2. click the Privacy tab. Click the button Remove All Website Data....

  3. Click Remove Now in the pop up window that appears.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
That is not what I wanted to do i wanted to remove any porn files embedded in my hard drive, this is different and basically a way to clear the history on Safari, if you don't know how, fine i will go to an apple store and get it done.
Expert:  Johnny Mack replied 1 year ago.

I understand if you truly want to delete these files we have to know where YOUR downloading them. IF not I have to go in there and one by one delete all your safari folders.
