Customer Question

IPhoto seems to have eaten all my photos. I followed the instructions in the pop-up message that I had to prepare my photo library, and all my photos disappeared.

Hi and Welcome. My Name is ***** ***** I look forward to assisting you today with your question.
On your Mac, open your home folder, open Pictures folder and do you see your iPhoto Library there ?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I see it, but it is in faded print and so I can't open it.
Expert:  Ashik replied 1 year ago.
Right click on it and select Get Info. What is its size ?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
It is in faded type. When I click on it nothing happens.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I can't highlight it to select it to click on.

I think the library is corrupted. To make sure, restart your Mac. Then hold down Option key and open iPhoto. Select Choose Library and what do you see ?
