Reason my mac mail has failed. I open ap and it says

Hello there! Follow the steps below to fix your mail issue.
Turn off your mac then hold the shift key. Turn on your mac continuing to hold the shift key for no less the 2 minutes.
log in.
Then open any folder and then look for the word go on the top menu bar. click the word go
Hold the Option key and then select Library from the Go menu
Go to the Containers > com.apple.mail > Data > Library > Saved Application State folder
Locate and remove the folder called “com.apple.mail.savedState
Re-launch Mail
