Can I remove one section of audio in keynote, I repeated the section twice?
Also, I cannot get the movement I set up on each slide to work in the playback...how do I adjust bullets appearing and time from one slide to the next?

Yes, you can edit the audio in Keynote - click the disclosure triangle next to Edit Audio, then drag the Trim slider to change the required length of the audio.
You can adjust the delay of bullets and other items using the arrows next to the Delay field.
