I get the message that I am not connected to the internet
I check my set up and it sassy I am connected
Eventually it comes on but soon disconnects

First reset the PRAM and NVRAM of your Mac. Follow the steps below to reset the PRAM and NVRAM
Shut down your Mac
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears and before the chime sound.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for two or three times.
Release the keys and let the Mac bootup.
Then soft reset the router. Press the reset button on the back of the router for only 1 second and this will soft reset it. Wait 3 minutes and turn off both your Mac and router for 2 minutes. Also unplug the router from power. Then put everything back and turn it on. Connect your Mac to the router.
