Email messages going out ,email coming in no problem. It says outgoing server SMTP.tools.sky.com failed

The problem is due to DNS resolution and your location in the world.
When you are in different locations, different DNS is used and may cause this problem.
Please, follow the instructions below to solve your problem:
- On the iPad, from the homescreen, tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, & Calendars.
- Choose Mail and then choose your account.
- Edit the account.
- For the SMTP server, enter the following: 188.125.68.58
- Save all of that.
You will be working anywhere after that is complete.

Sorry to say Jason I've tried four times and it won't verify the number you gave me 188.125.68.58 so I still can't send mail and my in box is of No Sender with dates from 1970 to 2015

I put the number you gave in and press done and shows verifying after about five minutes it comes up cannot verify this number. My location is Dortmund Germany

I asked you to put that number in the SMTP(OUTGOING) SERVER field.
Currently, the SMTP (Outgoing) Server field shows SMTP.tools.sky.com. You need to change it to: 188.125.68.58
