Hi
I am Vinod. I will try my best to help you resolve this issue.
How long have you been facing this issue? And what do you see on the iPhone screen - is it black?
Thank you
Vinod
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Not used phone for several weeks. Screen is black

Thank you, Liz.
Let's try a reset first. Press and hold the power button and the home button together for 10-40 sec. Let's see whether it turns on and accepts the charge.
If that does not work, let's connect the iPhone to the charger for 20 minutes. Then try the reset again.
Let me know whether that works.

Done all those things.

Let's open iTunes in the computer and connect the iPhone to the computer.
Now, on the iPhone, press and hold the power button and the home button together for 8 sec. At exactly 7-8 sec, let go off the power button, but keep on holding the home button for another 10-15 sec.
Let me know whether your iTunes recognises your iPhone in recovery mode.

Not worked

Then I am afraid it is a hardware damage and may need to be repaired or replaced..:(
You may either take it into any Apple Store nearby or call apple care to set up the repair/replacement. If your iPhone is under warranty, you should get a free replacement provided there is no water/physical damage.
You will find the apple care number from the following website.

Expert:  Vinod Menon replied 1 year ago.
I understand. Unfortunately, I am only an expert and don't know about how the payment works. You may get a refund if you wish. Please don't rate my answer and you may go for a refund By contacting our customer service department.
